The 5 August 1942 front page of FILM-KURIER TAGESZEITUNG, Berliin, had the death notice of TITANIC film director Herbert Selpin -- stating that he was found dead in his prison cell prior to formal charges being brought against him for slander and lies about the German armed forces. The original newspaper issue is found in the Collection.
