A studio press photo of Hermann Braun, who starred in both Luftwaffe films DIII88 and its sequel, KAMPFGESCHWADER LÜTZOW.  He died in January 1945 as a pilot in battle for the German Luftwaffe.

From our collection as well, an official Tobis Filmkunst studio portrait of the young actor taken prior to WWII, when he starred in romance and dramatic films.  In 1933, he was the original choice to play the role of Heini Völker in Hitlerjunge Quex, but fell ill after the first week of production, and was hurriedly replaced by the unknown Jürgen Olsen, after frantic searching for a new boy was undertaken by Uƒa Producer Karl Ritter.
