Anti–Semitic film posters in the Collection

In her pioneering study on Anti-Semitism in German feature films, Antisemitische Filmpropaganda:  Die Darstellung des Juden im nationalsozialistischen Spielfilm. (Kommunikation und Politik; Bd. 1. ©1971, Verklag Dokumentation, München–Pullach Berlin)  author Dorothea Hollstein listed the following films as having at least one anti-Semitic scene or negative Jewish character(s),  if not a more substantial or overriding anti-Jewish theme:

Carl Peters
Ein Robinson
Die Entlassung
Der ewige Jude (documentary)
Der ewige Quell
Feldzug in Polen (documentary)
Hans Westmar
Hitlerjunge Quex
Jud Süß
Legion Condor  (in the script - unfinished  1939 feature film)

Given the comprehensive holdings in this Collection, acquired over more than thirty years, we happen to have at least one poster of each and every one of these films —  and, if not the German original poster,  than a corresponding poster from an Axis, Occupied or Neutral country during WWII.

Please use our SEARCH engine to find these posters, which is located on the right side of the Home page as well as on many other internal pages.
