The Collection has a postcard from Degeto, which produced 8mm and 16mm weekly newsreel shorts for the home and schools market, advertising its latest newsreel release:
The Collection also has some a good assortment of cinema lobby B&W stills which were used to show the public what they could expect to see in that week's newsreel.
In April 2019 we acquired no fewer than 232 Deutsche Wochenschau lobby cards from 1933 – 1939. We shall be adding their newsreel numbers to the list above over time. Heer is a shot of them as at their arrival into our hands.
